French Bee Skep on Burlap

I've added a new painting to the shop. A french bee skep painted on burlap.

French Bee Skep, 12x12" oil on burlap

And here are a couple of photos I took in my dining room this morning.

This little pitcher painting is for sale also. It is 2" deep so it stands alone nicely...

Thank you for visiting me today. There was an amazing amount of cool projects shared at the Cowgirl Up party this week.  It seems to be getting better and better. Thank you all so much for participating.

As always, if you are interested in buying one of my paintings click on the tab at the top of this page that says "Shop my Paintings".  I have added paypal buttons so that you can buy easily and safely.

Oh, I have a question for you. Do you think I should add a bee or two to the painting?

Hugs,
Linsey

I love the casters in the glass thingy. (can't remember what they are called) I know what I'll be looking for at the big antique swap meet in Sacramento this Sunday. Thanks for the inspiration!

I LOVE bee skeps and your picture just makes me drool ! I'd say "yes, a solitary bee would be a great addition to the painting."

I agree with the others-I think a bee would add just the perfect finishing touch. Gorgeous paintings and love the pics in your dining room!

Aren't you the lucky gal with all those gorgeous white ironstone pitchers. I have a thing for pitchers but not much room for them to be displayed.
I love your paintings and yes one or two bees would be lovely with the bee skep painting. Love your style.
That hutch is so awesome, could you send it to me when you're tired of it? Pretty please. Of course I'd love all that yummy ironstone, what a collection, I'm dark green with disgusting envy. forgive me.
I bought an old home made hoosier in KY and brought it to CO with us. when we bought our house I sold it and could kick myself now. I could have torn out cupboards next to frig and put it in there. How much more character my small kitchen would have. Can't bear to think about it.
