You will need 4 ingredients for this recipe:
Burlap
Scissors
Iron
Fusing Web
DISCLAIMER
* I am not responsible for any damage this may cause to your home, nails, or material. I am NOT a professional, i'm a rusher. This tutorial is for fellow rushers who are not anal about measurements or propor form. I will likely offend several "sewers" and professional crafters with my lack of knowledge of the correct jargon. : )
First, cut out matching rectangles or burlap in your desired size.
Next cut and lay fusing web (comes in rolls like ribbon and when hot, melts and "fuses" fabric together) along 3 of the edges.
Next, lay the other "rectangle" of burlap over that, like a sandwitch where the burlap is the bread and the fusing web is the meat. Iron the ever living heck outta the seams. It takes waaaaay longer than the "10 seconds" it says on the package of fusing web.
Turn the bag inside out and roll down the top.
I'm going to embellish these tomorrow. So many ideas for these!
Enjoy!
Here are some I've prepared for the shop.

Hey, I can do this! I can sew, but this is so much quicker. How cute!
Your post is a hoot! I'm a sewer, but I love anything that allows me to rush. And, I think a bit of imperfectness adds character. To heck with terminology--your tutorial is fantastic and I'm going to make some of these. Thanks for sharing. I'm following.
I too am a sewer, but your blog is fun! Everyone of us can save some time and still get the look...love it.
What a sweet idea! They look sweet all filled and hung up!
What a super great idea! I love it and will have to try it this week! :)

Thanks for the lesson -- I'm a rusher, too, . . which is why I can't believe that I needlepoint -- that is not a rusher hobby! Great bags!

Those little bags are so cute! I love this idea. I have all of the ingredients already. I even have leftover fabric from former projects that I could use for this too. Thanks for the tutorial.

Oh, I love these... I'm allergic to needle and thread. ;) Thanks for sharing!
Hi! Found you at Dumpster Diva's link party. I just love these burlap bags, and your instructions are easy to follow. Thanks!
Love these ... Simple and beautiful...
I tend to be a Rusher with some projects too... otherwise I'm a creative snail... I tend to be extreme on both ends of the spectrum when it comes to the Creative Process. Right now I'm striving to make Burlap Christmas Stockings... I have only one done... that fusing web is looking mighty tempting to me... *winks* But I'm so lazy I don't even remember the last time I ironed... or used the iron as anything more than a doorstop... IF I even still have an iron??!???! *LOL*
