Chippy White Goodies...

Phew...I made it to the weekend. What a busy week!

Had a roof leak, but I won't go there. It's all good now. In other news my ETSY shop has been a roaring success! OK, well...what I call roaring i'm sure would be considered piddly by most. 16 sales in a little over a week! Thank you SO much to any of you reading this who bought a little something from my shop, I know a couple of you found me here on my blog first. I don't know how you other ETSY people do it! It is so much more work than I expected. Crazy fun hard work. Some people have over 1,000 items in their shop. Where do they store it all? It amazes me!

Inventory was starting to go down so of course, I had to go shopping. Oh the drudgery of it...:). Seriously though, you all know I love hunting for hidden treasure in the bowels of dingy antique booths and moth ball scented thrift stores! I live for it. Lurking around like Gollum searching for "myyyy precioussss".

And I KNOW you do too, that's why we're friends! I find it strangely relaxing. Isn't it the best feeling to wile away the hours rummaging through rusty old kitchen utensils and neatly starched vintage linens, envisioning your grandmother in her heyday, standing at the sink in an apron and beehive hairdo, peeling potatoes? It's a romanticized version of farmhouse life of course. I love my dish washer and air conditioning!

Anyways, my first find is something I'm seriously considering keeping for myself (I actually want to keep everything I buy!). Aren't they dreamy?

Here's the rest ...

All of these items are available in my shop!

Have a glorious weekend, and thank you for popping in to visit!

♥Linsey

I love all your posts so much! I am pretty obsessed with your birthday cake oil painting! Did you do that?!?! Do you have copies you are selling? WOW! I also love your loaf pan guest tray, you have some major talent going on!

Such great finds! I am glad your Etsy shop is doing well--I say that is roaring! I hope to have an Etsy shop someday and I would be thrilled with that many sales in a week. Continued success wished for you!

I am glad your Etsy shop is going well, it is a lot of work, and storage can be a pain, but it is such a thrill to sell items. You have found some great things! I have moved over seas and I am still trying to find the good places to go to find treasures like these. I miss a good Texas thrift store or junkin' out in the country. Good luck with your shop!

Congratulations on the success of your Etsy. I've had an Etsy shop for over a year and never sold anything. I think Australia is so far away the shipping cost is the problem.:(
I love all your items you found,I wouldn't want to part with them either. :)

You've picked some mighty fine pieces for your shop! Those floral plaques with their scalloped edges are devine!

Great finds! I would call it a success! I was selling on etsy for a few months and sold 2 items.I am doing much better in my space.I may try etsy again later.I find it hard to sell my finds too!But sometimes I will keep things for a bit until I find something better and then I sell it!

Linsey, those are really cool pieces!
I don't blame you for wanting to keep those 1st 2 pieces for yourself--but if you do sell, I WANT THEM!

I had to laugh at myyyy precioussss lol! I love the thrill of the hunt too. My Etsy store is a blend of things I make and thrift items I find. It is work, but so much fun! You found some awesome treasures there. Have a great week!
