2 New Paintings and a photo of God Smiling

I have two new paintings to share...

"Pear and Cloche" Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas, $400, 18x24"

"The Edge of Town" 12x12" Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas

I'm loving the cloche & pear painting against my green wall. If she doesn't get adopted, she can be part of the family. :)

And lastly...this.
I don't have big, earth shaking spiritual moments. Rather, I feel like God is saying hello in little quiet moments like this, when I pause to look at his unparalleled work of art- the world. From the enormity of the sky  to the pattern of a butterflies wing, no detail is incorrect.
I stepped into my backyard and saw this sky yesterday. And I instantly felt God smiling upon me.

Every time I look at this picture now, I get that feeling again.

Fantastic! The pear and cloche is lovely and DOES look good in your room. There is no greater artist than Him....it's pretty obvious!

I discovered you on wow us wednesdays and am now a follower. Love the paintings, and your picture. Lately I've been loving the devotional, Streams in the Desert, as it keeps directing me to God, just like your picture. Thanks for posting it. Hope you take a look at my blog, too. Thanks.

I forgot to tell you I can't wait to show your paintings to my son who is an art/sculpture major, and my son-in-law who's studying art at the Academy of Art in San Francisco.

Came over from Cowgirl Up. Love your work and am always eagerly awaiting to see what is next. I think the pear and cloche should live with you for awhile. You are a master of defining space and texture in a painting!
