Tried my hand at making an old sign...

I think I need to sand it once it dries...maybe put some wax or a brownish glaze on it.

Very homemade looking, I know, but I figured the old farm signs were homemade anyways!

The sign looks great. I liked the closeup so the white outlining/shadow could be seen. I think I could try that - I've been thinking about making a small sign for some time.

Very cute...I've never seen the word "cotton" that's sweet. There are so many sayings that are the same. That's different. Nice.
I follow you :)

I think it does have a charming primitive look to it. It would look cute in a laundry room!

I think it's lovely as is, Linsey! The crackling on the edges is perfect and I like the muted colors.

this is just lovely! I really like that shabby chic/distressed/vintage look for signs and furniture and you've totally captured it in this sign!

Looks great! And if you disstress it even more like you said I bet it will look even better. :)
