I knew that would get your attention...hee hee.
Mr.Porch was sweet enough to go to Lowe's for some wall anchors so I could hang my little plate rack. I just love this thing. It will have a permanant home someday next to the tiny farm sink window in my dream cottage. Until then it can just hold some what-nots in the kitchen.
Isn't that long skinny book neat? It's really old, each page has a psalm written on it in lavender!

Ooooh I like it! I have wanted to make a plate rack like yours & this inspired me to move it up the list. Visiting from Restore Interiors.
ReplyDeleteYour plate rack is such a great find and I know you will enjoy having it so much. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI love plate racks! I have one in my sitting room holding brown & white transferware and have enjoyed it for a few years now. You will find more uses for yours and enjoy it for a long time too. I like how yours has the slats in it.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great rack. I like how it's large enough on the top that you can put your bowl up there. I just found your blog today - I think through Coastal Charm's party.
ReplyDeleteThat is sure a sweet plate rack. You must enjoy using and looking at it. That little book is very sweet too.
ReplyDeleteShowing your painting on my blog today http://cedarhillranch.blogspot.com/2011/11/hay-there.html

Feel free to take a I'm been featured button from my button page if you like.
I love this plate rack! I enjoyed my visit to your lovely blog. Big Hugs ♥
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful and love that little book of Psalms. Hope you can join in on Vintage Inspiration Fridays over here! Nice to meet you! xo
ReplyDeleteI love this Linsey, I saw this pic on Brenda's blog and just had to call by and visit. Your blog is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't mind if I Pin this photo to my Pinterest, I'd like to put it on a couple of Boards - 'Inspiration for Minis' and 'Brocante' - it's so charming that I think it will get quite a few repins over time and everytime that happens your blog address is carried with it so hopefully it will inspire more visitors to your blog as people who like it check out the source.
I'm also using Pins to my Pinterest boards to keep track of some of the lovely blogs out there I'd like to revisit (like yours) as an alternative strategy to using the Follow button because I'm already 'officially' Following a ridiculous number of blogs that have pretty/interesting content. Keeping track thru Pins is a better alternative for me than adding blog URLs to Favourites.
I'll certainly be back for another visit - from what you say in your profile about loving 'chippy', French and cottage style we are style 'twins'!! :)
I'm finishing up a mini project for my grandson at present (currently showing on my blog) but soon as that's done it's back to my vintage French miniature project which features a Brocante with plenty of miniature 'time worn' stuff :)
If you have any objection to my Pinning from your blog please email me at normabennett@hotmail.com
Love this!
