We have company coming this Saturday for a little football party. I thought that adding some "autumn " to the house might help set the mood. Even if it is sweltering hot outside. I just LOOOVE the holidays! Can you tell?
This reminds me of the apple cider mill (bf clyde??) in Connecticut that we used to visit in the fall. I miss that. Anybody live up there? Want to send me a jug? MMM!
Acorns and apples...leaves and barnwood...rusty, crusty metal...creamy white ironstone jugs...all on a simple burlap runner.
An old zinc mason jar lid makes a perfect little farm-y candle base.
And out of everything I put out, the truck is my favorite! I've been waiting for a chance to use it. I love adding at least one whimsical item to a vignette!
Well...there you have it. Football season and fall feelin'! Inside the house anyways...

ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty, Linsey! Perfect for Fall. I'm inspired to fix our hall cabinet up for Fall now too.
ReplyDeleteI love the fall too and I love that it's football time again. However, here in SC it's waayy too hot for me. I'm new to your blog and just wanted to stop in and say how much I love it!

The truck is adorable and looks great with the fall vignette. I As much as I love fall decor, I'm digging my heels in and enjoying summer right down to September 21st! We've had fall like temperatures in Michigan most of the summer this year and only had hot weather the past couple of weeks! Fall will be here soon enough.
ReplyDeleteI just found your lovely blog and became a follower :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful and I love that little toy truck with the apples in it! I've been looking for one like that.

Pretty vignette and great photography. I just love that little red truck. I have a set of metal John Deer tractor toys from childhood. I ought to pull them out and use them this way. Thanks for the idea! Take care - Dawn @ We Call It Junkin
ReplyDeleteRustic and simple! My favorite. The arrangement looks amazing. I love the pitchers and of course the little red truck has stolen my heart!
