Lazy Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bars

Howdy-do little punkins!

Our first cold snap blew in last night and it is absolutely heavenly. I love love LOVE the fall. And now, it finally feels like fall here in Texas.

We have company coming for dinner tonight. This is good. Because if I were left alone with these sweet autumn treats I'd be in trouble.
My husband offered to cook dinner...YIPEE! So I figured I could at least whip up an easy dessert.  I couldn't resist trying the Betty Crocker Pumpkin Bar mix. They turned out deee-lish! These will be "the bees knees" with a cup of creamy hot decaf coffee tonight.

"Just around the corner...
there's a rainbow in the sky...

So let's have another cup of coffee...
and let's eat another piece of pie."

Pumpkin Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting

Here's what I used:

1 package Betty Crocker Pumpkin Bars

1.5 cups cream cheese frosting

Sparkle sugar granules for garnish, chopped nuts would be good too I reckon'.

I hope you all are having a wonderful chili eatin', football watchin', sweater wearin' weekend!

  2. Oh THANKS, Linsey- I never ever go to that section of the store and don't know when there are goodies to try and make - so easy that way.

I entertain often in the fall and anytime it can be done easier makes it nice- even just to call a friend for tea or coffee and a treat, to catch up and whatnot.

    Thanks, they look REALLY DELISH!
