So that's what I did this morning, snapping pics all the way (had to find another excuse to play with the new cam!).
Here's what I did, the final results, and few more random pics from around the house this morning. Make sure to check out my goatmilk soap pics. The soap is made by my mom's friend, who also sells fresh eggs and other farm fresh goodies. I fell in love with the look of the soaps. The one pictured is cucumber. Pretty and functional!
So there it is. This would be best for pillows in a no-traffic area that are for looks only. It's a fun easy way to change up the look of a seating area. Why didn't I think of this sooner?
Here are the random shots...
Have a great day friends!

ps I love the music on your blog...and that is rare for me...I usually don't like it...to distracting...though I did have some on mine for Christmas...and I am missing it on there now! Might have to add some of these songs!
Your house is gorgeous and great idea on the pillows!! Love your creativity. What kind of camera did you get?
ReplyDeleteThanks Anita! : D It's a Canon Rebel XT.
ReplyDeleteGirl, I am all about easy and these burlap pillows seem easy and they look great.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I may do this for the bench on my front porch. No one ever sits on it either. Plus, my sewing machine is broken.
ReplyDeleteHey, it may be easy, but if it works I say go for it. I have burlap curtains in my family room so I love a touch of burlap here and there. I love the rustic look of the soap also. I bet it delivers a wonderful bath. Visiting from White Wednesday. Now a new follower.
ReplyDeleteYour no-sew burlap pillow covers look terrific, Linsey! Years ago, I changed the look of several pillows by just tying the fabric around them. Love all the treasures you showed here, too...including the homemade soap. ;)
ReplyDeleteHope to see you at Time Travel Thursday this week. Happy New Year!

I wrote on Coastal Charms comments that I wanted to leave a comment for you and couldn't! Now I came through via someone else's comments where you commented too and it's fine! Love your stuff....xo
