My Winter Wedding

Nothing is more boring than looking at a stangers family pics, I know. But I paid more for my photographer than for anything else at my wedding so I have the right to share them on my blog at least once right? And who knows, maybe there's a mom or bride to be out there in blogville that needs some winter wedding ideas and inspiration.

Pam at White Ironstone Cottage has a great post... Prairie Style Wedding | ♥ White Ironstone Cottage#c4823192619569284333#c4823192619569284333... right now about a prairie wedding and it gave me the urge to post some of my wedding pics.

My wedding was in early January, 8 years ago, in the oldest Catholic Church in Fort Worth. It was a formal night wedding with lots of drippy candles a jazz band and amazing antique themed centerpieces.

I'm so proud of my wedding pics because they made me look glamerous (which I'm not).

This was a bit of a budget wedding. Having an 18 month engagement gave my mom (*the* wedding guru) lots of time to make my centerpieces and plan the decor. We had so much fun planning the whole thing. Having a mom who's a professional floral designer and artist sure helps too (thanks mom...♥ you!)

The grooms cake...made to look likeold books ( with Texas A&M bookends for the aggie groom of course)

The kids table was full of candy and small toys...
