Before
Hey Mr.Green table. I still like you but you need to retire.
After
Helllooo Mr.Blue farm table! Not sure if I'll keep you blue. But for now you'll do. Scored this cutie for $40 and a trade today. I love trades!
Lighter!
Brighter!
Chippy-er!
The wrinkles on that one pillow are really bothering me. But I can't think about that now, I'll think about that tomorrow. :)
Like my vintage potato masher? haha
And eventually the cheapy blue and brown rug will be replaced by a sisal. I'll let the kids and lab beat it up first. Shouldn't take long. : /
And next to all of this, further down the entry way under the stairs...
Remember the French pie safe? Painted the same pale blue?
Most of these items were things I had stashed away or hand me downs. Somehow when you move them around they seem new again.
So there you have it. More of my attempts to make a brand new house look old and beat up. Sometimes I wonder about my sanity. :D
♥Linsey
I am loving the lighter, brighter, chippier, farm look! Did you mix that color yourself? What a great blue color. Good job! Looks great for summer. (I love the summer look all year round ;))

Hugs.
